Ingredients:
- 1lb ground beef
- 5 cloves of garlic minced
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 1 beef bullion cube that has been crumbled
- 1 Tbsp steak seasoning
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 medium zucchini thinly spiraled
- 4 cheese slices (I used muenster)
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp Sriracha
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- salt and pepper
- Juice from half of lemon
Instructions:
- Wash and spiralize zucchini.
- Place zoodles into a colander and generously sprinkle with salt.
*NOTE: Zucchini renders a lot of water when cooked, salt will help pull out excess moisture before cooking!* - Rinse well to remove salt.
- Pour zoodles into a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out at much water as possible and set aside.
- Add ground beef to a mixing bowl and sprinkle with steak seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, half of the minced garlic, bullion cube, and parsley. Mix to combine.
- Divide beef into 8 even portions and form into patties.
- Top half of the patties with a slice of cheese and add the other patties on top to make the “sandwich”.
- Melt 2 Tbsp of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook beef patties 5-6 minutes on each side depending on desired temperature.
- Baste the beef with butter and juices.
- In the same skillet melt the remaining 2 Tbsp of butter then add remaining garlic, lemon juice, sriracha, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
- Stir in parsley and add the Zoodles.
- Toss in the sauce for 2-3 minutes to soak up the juice.
- Add the burgers back into the skillet and heat back up for a minute or two.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
