Alfredo Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 2 oz of softened cream cheese
  • 1 1/2-2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 1-2 Tbsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Melt your stick of butter and softened cream cheese in a sauce pan.
  2. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add parmesan cheese and stir until melted and combined.
  4. Pour in your heavy cream and seasonings and bring to a boil.
  5. Whisk occasionally.
  6. Sauce should be thick enough to cover the back of a spoon.
  7. If you feel your sauce is not thick enough you can add more parmesan cheese and a pinch of Xanthan gum.

I served mine with some baked chicken and shirataki noodles!
